Mr A N Singh is a management consultant with specialization in Lean, currently involved in management teaching, training and consulting.

Being an engineering graduate from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University with post-graduate qualifications in Industrial Management, Business Management & Gembakaizen, he has been ssociated with industry for last 37 years. He has worked as industry manager and management consultant in three leading public & private sector organizations; Steel Authority of India Ltd-Rourkela Steel Plant, Jindal Stainless Ltd. and FICCI Quality Forum.

A Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ. Trained in Lean Management at Lean Enterprise Academy UK, Kaizen Institute Japan, Toyota Motor Corporation Japan, Asian Productivity Organization,& Yokohama Kenshu Center Japan. Trained in Quality Control of specialty steels at Armco Steel USA. Certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner, & Quality Management System Lead Auditor. Formally studied and qualified courses in Vedanta and Vedic Astrology.

He had an opportunity to learn know-how & do-how of Lean from two world-renowned Lean Gurus Dr. Daniel Jones, Chairman Lean Enterprise Academy UK & Kaizen Guru Masaki Imai, Chairman Kaizen Institute Japan.

Worked as UNIDO consultant for implementation of Lean Manufacturing in SMEs. An ASQ approved faculty on Lean Manufacturing, Lean Service & Lean Six Sigma. Conducted number of in-house and public training programs, Kaizen workshops, and Lean consulting projects as a consultant of FICCI Quality Forum, UNIDO & American Society for Quality.  Provided consultancy and training to many leading public & private sector organizations belonging to steel, aluminum, ferroalloys, textile, petrochemicals, power, food-processing,
paper, pharmaceutical, engineering, banking, educational consulting, dairy, foodprocessing and service organizations.

Based on his hands-on experiences authored 9 Books (on Lean, quality management and stainless steel) and developed 9 corporate training CDs on topics related to Lean Manufacturing, Lean Service, Lean Six Sigma, Lean Tools & Techniques, Cost Reduction, Quality Audit, Mindset Change etc. Currently working as a Professor of Management & Management Consultant at Asia Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi.
