Director’s Greetings

Janak-Mehta

LeanManagement Institute of India (LMII) along with its team extends heartiest welcome to you on our website. We are indeed delighted that you have taken out your valuable time to visit our website.

LMII is a not for profit organisation with a noble purpose of promoting lean thinking across India. We try to describe in simple language the fundamental idea of lean thinking derived from Toyota through decades of research work by our Lean Sensei Jim Womack, Dan Jones, Josh Ferro, John Shook and Peter Walsh.

LMII is affiliated to lean global network. The Lean Global Network consists of a growing number of nonprofit organizations throughout the world devoted to the promotion of lean thinking and development of lean leaders.

We diffuse the Lean Thinking and ideas through a variety of ways, including publication of books and workbooks, public workshops, workshop at your company, taking a Gemba Walk through your value streams, and Lean Summits.

We use the surplus revenues from these activities to conduct research projects and to supportthe Lean Global Network and develop a Lean India Network.

I’d like to invite you to join the Lean Community to create value for your customer and eliminate waste from your value stream to contribute to sustained growth and prosperity of your company, people, society, country and of the globe as whole.

We welcome and thank you for your continued support.

With warm regards,

Mr. Janak Mehta (Director)
